Slips, Trips and Falls are they costing you £££'s ?

The Health & Safety Executive are often accused of overburdening smaller businesses with regulations and to some extent being heavy handed. They have just announced a new campaign giving advice to businesses to help cut the number of people injured by slipping or falling at work.

Considering that every year some 30,000 people are off work for three or more days due slips or falls and the total costs amount to £800 million you can see why they are trying to help.

This time of the year, as we have advised before, is a time to
re-assess your workplace for slips and trips hazards; it will be a great deal more cost effective than hiring cover for injured members of your staff.
